After 7 months of work, Tierra del Agua has joined the Ecotourism Club of Spain, for its commitment to sustainability and its contribution to the conservation and local development of the Redes Natural Park. We ensure compliance with the basic requirements established by the Club, framed in the following thematic areas and subject to review every 3 years:

• Access conditions
• Basic services and facilities
• Service quality
• Connection with the protected area and the destination
• Responsible promotion
• Minimization of environmental impacts
• Contribution to the conservation of natural heritage
• Support for local development
• COVID-19 prevention

And we commit to the development of an Improvement Plan with specific actions and links to the destination and protected area, also on a 3-year basis:

• Renovation of village houses to rent to workers, so that the entire front office team resides in the territory, helping to stabilize the population and boost the economic activity of the Park.
• Environmental awareness campaigns in collaboration with other organizations.
• Donations to environmental conservation organizations.
• Installation of solar panels for self-consumption of electricity.
• Continue working towards achieving the SDGs.
